TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

The lights are widely used across the airports and air routes for indicating obstructions that might be a danger to the aircrafts.

SPECIFICATION

SPECTRUM High Intensity Obstruction Lights: For use in foggy areas in the vicinity of airports, and on air routes, to indicate obstructions which may constitute danger to aircraft.

This is a single light unit employing a series of high intensity special LEDs, and has been specially designed for use where a light source with an extended life (approx.50000 burning hours.) is desirable. The omni-directional light distribution is arranged so that the maximum light output, is obtained in the zone between 70 degrees above and 10 degrees below the horizontal with a maximum of candelas at 20 degrees above.

The body is a corrosion-resistance aluminium casting finished in aviation yellow epoxy paint finish and houses the electronic circuitry for the LEDs. The light source is protected by a thick clear glass dome mounted on a hinged cast bezel ring secured to the body by means of three stainless steel bolts.

The electronic circuitry is a suitable for 200/240V 50z and is wired upto a connector block in a terminal box for easy mains wiring. 20 degrees above.

The fixture is fully weatherproof and designed for shock and vibration resistance, and has a Dielectric strength of 2.5K.V. with against reverse voltages upto 1K.V.
